Castiglione del Lago stands on the lake, lying on a promontory where stands The Ducal Palace, also known as the Palazzo della Corgna, is in all of Umbria the only small "palace" that still exists and is in excellent condition.Inside it preserves beautiful rooms frescoed by Pomarancio and Salvio Savini, the best being the Sala Maggiore and the Sala del Trono, which are decorated with mythological subjects executed at the request of Marquis Diomede. We also find 24 chairs of the original Corgnesque furnishings and, on the ground floor, still frescoes with the stories of the world upside down and Diana and Callisto, attributed to Salvio Savini.Connected to the Ducal Palace is the Rocca del Leone, reached by a walkway with loopholes on the Trasimeno River that is really exciting. This building has the characteristic triangular shape, it is the result of a series of design revisions starting with that of Frederick II of Swabia and the Marquis Ascanio I.Walking through Castiglione del Lago we notice that there are still the ancient walls that give an evocative atmosphere to the town, we can also go in search of the three gates of access to the city: Perugia, Florence, Siena. Triangular tower, three gates: the number three is going strong around here and it is no accident. The internal urban layout is based on the number three and at the behest of Galeazzo Alessi on studies by Vignola and directions from Ascanio della Corgna.

Breakfast and departure of the group to Tuoro Sul Trasimeno with short excursion to the sites of the famous "Battle of Trasimeno" between Hannibal's Carthaginians and the Romans in 217 B.C. Memorial Second Punic War.
Visit to the Sun Park and embarkation for Isola Maggiore.

Day 3
Breakfast in and departure of the group Magione. Birthplace of Friar John of Pian del Carpine, who visited Mongolia before Marco Polo, and visit to the Castle of the Knights of Malta whose original nucleus was built in the mid-12th century, not far from the important road axis between Perugia, Trasimeno and Tuscany.
Chiesa del Soccorso, di forma insolita, a pianta greca con cupola ottagonale, fu edificata nella prima metà del 1700. Corciano, uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia, dove si può visitare la chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta, al cui interno si trovano la tavola dell'Assunta del Perugino (1513) e il Gonfalone di Benedetto Bonfigli dipinto nel 1472.
Return for lunch at the Sas Feliciano lakeside with Possibility of brunch or snack with "Lagone" or "Latterini Fritti," with visit to the Fishermen's Cooperative, Fishing Museum and Visit to La Valle Oasis.
